NAARVA E24

The new Naarva E24 feller grapple is controlled with the grapple opening/closing function. It requires no electricity or additional hydraulic output.

CONTROL WITHOUT ELECTRICITY

Naarva E24 is installed in place of a standard grapple. All functions are controlled with the grapple opening/closing function. It requires no additional hydraulic output or electricity. The sequential valve controls cutting, accumulation and tilt automatically. When the grapple close function is activated and the pressure reaches a certain limit, the guillotine begins cutting. When this function is maintained and the pressure reaches an upper limit, the tilt of the E24 switches to the handling position.

CUTTING WITH STRONG GUILLOTINE OR QUICK GUILLOTINE

A new, strong and fast guillotine blade has been designed especially for the E24. It can cut up to 24 cm in diameter. The measured cutting time is 1.2sec (with 70l/min flow rate). The guillotine arms close against the shaft and press it against the blade. The sash does not require any maintenance other than lubrication. The guillotine box is located on an auxiliary support, which can be dismantled so any damage caused to the cutting system will not damage the grapple itself.
